The sushi was quite good, though the varieties were “safe” for home making– smoked salmon, tuna fish salad (mayo and all); she also suggested leftover meat or cheese, which would fit well in the land of sheep and dairy cattle, not so sure how popular cheese sushi is in Japan though.
The best part was being famous for a few days–everyone who had seen me once was sure to ask about the class.
The worst part was word must have got around to the school, I got another class list, but this one required checking whether you were a NewZealander or on a Student Visa, otherwise you can’t take a class!
